So I woke up around 11:40pm yesterday night, I came out of my room to the compound of where I stay and behold I could see everywhere clearly even the ants walking on the floor without a torch, it was as if an halogen lamp was hung up above the sky and it was shinning light for me to see.
The moon was pretty bright like the day was just beginning.
I listened carefully to the sounds I was hearing, it was the sound of a local drum been beaten and some group of people singing in harmony, I was filled with some kind of joy to hear that pleasant solemn songs & beat at that time of the night.
I discovered that a church was probably having vigil, it was beautiful that I was already moving my legs to the sounds I could hear.
The atmosphere, bright moon even helped/enhance the song and drum because it sounded like a recorded track well done and mixed.
Everywhere else was silent and cool so I could pick each statement from the song, they were praising God and am sure the heavenly bodies will also be glad at the people offering this pleasant piece at night.
Everywhere looked outrightly different and unique, the whole surrounding and environment had a touch of the moon light which made it look unique .
I said to myself, the night also has it's own beauty with uniqueness and difference, but people do say the night is for the evil doers, i still don't understand because it looked cool and charming, a time for night stories and deep thinking without any disturbance , it was too cool for arrangement of the evil ones or time for people to plan evil.
I quickly remembered another Yoruba adage that says “A well brought up child doesn't keep late night or stay out at night” then I knew I was over enjoying my stay outside tho I was seeing positive and beautiful things about the night but I couldn't just stay any longer so I went back to my room and thought more of what I saw but it wasn't like me being outside and seeing the real thing.
I thought of the beauty of the night till I slept off.
